Yes, finasteride is legit. The side effects are bad, I took finasteride for 6 months, my hair completely stopped falling but I noticed a big decrease of sex drive and erections.
Don't take finasteride or other things like dutasteride unless you are legit balding.

Finasteride doesn't neutralize steroids, it only makes the side effects worse.
Most AAS can bind to the DHT receptor and cause hairloss just like DHT does, and finasteride does nothing against those AAS.
Also if you take fin while on a roid cycle you should expect way worse side effects because you will have way more estrogen than you would if you didn't take finasteride so there is a higher risk of gynecomastia and looking bloated (which makes the roid cycle pointless).
Also clomid doesn't change the natural testosterone production when you stop taking it.
