a specific stock, bitcoin, some recourse like oil
and lets you know that some insider information has probably been passed, and you can make a trade that'll follow those whales

Via telegram/Twitter for stocks there's stuff like Tradytics or Insider Monkey alert on huge insider buys/sells and unusual options sweeps.

then why do people not catch huge whale buys/sales
whenever it happens, theres some reddit post with 70 upvotes saying "hey, this bump up/down is weird" then the huge crash/bump happens a few hours/days/weeks later and people connect the dots
i'm not knowledgable at all on this btw , the most i've done is code a fill or kill and good for day order types for an orderbook in c++ as a hobby a year ago
