why is this even a thing? what causes this abomination of a physique/bone structure

Do u think everything should be given you by default and your sedentary soy lifestyle will turn u in Chad? Run weightlifting program focused on V-taper u will see some progress in your upper body.

People with wide hips have no choice but to put on mass and bulk up their core and lats. They look better with a Statham-esque square physique than with less muscle and an hourglass shape.

my routine is on my profile but I suggest you just follow some basic ppl routine instead, the reason I do this is because I hate variety.

Maximize your skeletal frame while it's possible (clavicle growth plates should be open at your age). And indeed, should add core muscle mass so it looks at least rectangular rather than hourglass shaped.

ok so what ive garnered from this thread so far is that it might not be over yet
essentially ill have to gymcel and increase muscle mass in my waist area (obliques, lower lats, abs) to compensate for my subhuman wide hips

Give it some time, do breathing exercises or go diving to widen rib cage, don’t be fat or most importantly have shit genes

i literally have a waist to hip ratio of 0.75 (perfect for females) and a shoulder to waist ratio of 1.4 (perfect for females)
how is this even possible

pretty much, my routine isn't special, I am relatively strong but the ability to build strength and your ability to build muscle aren't necessarily correlated.

all of my blood values are normal, I've posted them before, there's nothing special there.

I have a slim build and my frame is a bit like the attached one, but I'm more wider.

How can I measure my frame?

If my dad was a professional swimmer for +5 years and his frame widened, could this affected mine?

wasn't the swimming that did that, clavicles are just one of the last bones to stop growing, if you're narrower than your dad and you're not in your mid twenties yet you're likely still going to get wider.

I'm in my 10s and going through puberty, I was currently thinking of getting into swimming so I could widen my frame.

only way you're going to make any impact by swimming is if you do high effort strokes i.e butterflies for extended periods of time and consistently, you're better off just lifting, casual swimming won't do much the resistance just isn't very high.
