Just because you belonged to a tribe doesn’t mean you were high status and not treated like a disposable utility, either a worker or warrior. Men have always been about their grind and trying to make it. That takes a lot of hours spent alone thinking or mastering skills.

And just in general from my personal anecdotal examples I can see men handling loneliness better than women. Women become total wrecks without some social group.
