I'm asking you where and who is trying to supposedly trying to enact this bill that will allow the government to go against most laws and invade your right to privacy. I'm not defending the current state of the democratic party because I disagree with most of their ideals and programs however you're quoting identity politics in a discussion on serious law. The left isn't just transgenderism and black people its more nuanced. Even Marx the founder of modern communism was against large-scale immigration and many leftists disagree with it as well. I can quote Project 2025 and such saying "Oh well the right wants to take away freedoms this way!" and such but I won't because that's dishonest. Government intervention isn't the government acting on a citizen level it just means more work on the government to enact social programs and economic stability that's deep down what the left is about. 30 years ago the left was viewed as the edgy free speaking party they were the ones who were pushing for freedom of expression and free speech because the right was acting how the left is now and trying to censor everything does that mean the right wing is bad? idk if you and i are talking about the same thing. For one theres more to the constitution than just privacy. But if you want examples of government officals who want to “ammend” constitutional privileges then you have pritzker, newsom, pelosi, harris and kotek to name a few. They do want to and have passed bills like gun legislation to enter your house illegally if were going off of the constitution. But again legal and illegal does not mean right and wrong also.
