How autistic is having a fake FB profile for years where I invented another life?

I used this profile to say low inhibition things, sometimes I used that to troll people or ask questions I wouldnt IRL.

I keel asking questions about how they act/escalate with women since I was blocked until I was 27.
Literally I was too autistic and afraid to make a move in confident/non cringy way so I used this profile to ask people about that.

Also I invented a new life with another name, face, and I used to write things that didnt just for lols

I dont know seriously how bad is that

Honestly that's very strange, but completely understandable in a way. We all have things we want to do or say, but learn to control those impulses for the sake of our relationships, which is how it's meant to be.

I didn't do the exact same thing, but I used to lie about how well things were going (uni etc), for it only to destroy me mentally.

I could just be reading into it way to much, as it sounds similar to things I did when I was in a bad place - so just be careful please, it can end up really hurting you, especially if you start to realize your fake life is so much better than your own.

Kinda strange but most people do this already. Like on instagram most people post false information and they get a dopamine rush from larping that life similar to what you are doing. Like stated by someone else you can gain the social skills for when you ascend with your looks

|DK, maybe, I've been diagnosed but it might just bee too much of a cop out to say that it was.

Personally, if I had healthy relationships I wouldn't be in that situation - so it might be that the problem is being isolated, but then the isolation might be due to autism.

Let's say someone like Henry Cavil was autistic, I don' t think he would be effected in the same way an ordinary person would due to extra-ordinary circumstances that would outweigh the autism.

Now that I type it down, maybe it is autism and the only way to combat that is to become the Lookism meme of "Over for autists in [insert date] unless PSL 8 + Status maxxed + monneymaxxed".

All I can say though, is continuing to generate a second life is going to ultimately be more destructive than improving your current one even in the smallest ways possible, as you'll always be thinking that your second life "could've been me".

Well, it's not "normal", but I'd say you were doing some kind of self-help... nothing bad though, as long as you don't become completely disconnected from reality, I think it's good to have a "fantasy life" as it can be your "happy place"... I mean, I don't think there's anything strange with it, just a bit "weird" as it's not something people do, but a lot of people would like to live a more interesting life than the one they have.
