This a good example of how making money and business has nothing to do with providing value in most cases. It's literally all about mind controlling normies by understanding their phycology. There's a thread in the business section full of bad advice, like "Meh provide value" that's literally pinned. By being pinned and containing bad advice, it proves that success has nothing to do with providing value but making better emotional appeals.

Here's a great example of Mercedes. Does it get you from point A to point B faster? No, you have to follow the speed limits. Does it have some magical "comfort" technology that other cars don't have? No.

What it is, is it's better at mind control. This is one of example of many propaganda pieces it has put out. Notice the colors, the music, the shots, the acting, all used to induce a particular emotional state and hypnotize the viewer.

It get's the viewer to associating the feeling of supernatural power with owning a Mercedes. This is on a deep subconscious emotional level. Afterwards the viewer will find logical reasons to backwards rationalize their emotion driven purchase decision, for an over hyped hunk of metal.

It's damn good story telling, and it's based on a true story. I'll give them that. But story telling is one of the most effective methods of mind control. It's why every major religion on earth consists of stories. When done well stories can bypass logic and reason to instill emotional associations.

In the Mercedes Benz commercial notice how everyone that laughs at her is ugly, while she and the girl who looks up to her are not ugly. The real power is in not being ugly, but Mercedes wants you to make the subconscious and false association that that power of not being ugly is also in owning a Mercedes. It's putting completely illogical arguments into the subconscious minds of it's audience.

The emotional "journey" the commercial takes the viewers on is subtle. It starts with fear as the hook. The hook grabs our attention, disables our logical brain and sucks us in to be better hypnotized. Think of this as induction in hypnotism. If the commercial had immediately started with emotional arguments intelligent viewers may have more resistance to it, so it starts with induction to fully disable the rational brain and then starts feeding emotional arguments.

The next part is the presentation of "persecution". The message is the main character is being persecuted and is in danger. The best beer commercial also uses this narrative. I could go on about this shit for ever. But the idea is the viewer is the main character, the viewer has no value and is persecuted and buying this car will give them power and make others fear them and respect them.

As the commercial continues the music slowly changes to become more powerful instead of fearful and the color palette changes slightly to become more saturated, but not enough that the vast majority would notice. A child is shown with respect and admiration and she drives away with uplifting music. Children are often used to give the feeling of power and being respected to the viewer and have them associate that with a product.

The final quote "She believed in more than just a car. She believed in herself." Brilliant. The most effective commercials are masters at hiding their manipulation. They just triggered all kinds of emotional associations, hiding what they were doing with the induction in the beginning, and now this little line at the end. The direct message is "We're not trying to sell you a car, we just want you to believe in yourself, we don't even care if you buy the car". That frame of non pushy sales man, of "We don't car if you buy X" is necessary in sales. But the message is more than just that. It works through association, which most people are not aware of. The viewer is pavlov's dog. The viewer sees two pieces of the message: "She believed in her car. She believed in herself." and begins associating them. Then show the child's face one last time to trigger the feeling of being respected and admired, and then bang, flash the Mercedes logo.

Using true stories is more effective in sales. But the fact that this was based on a true story doesn't make the car more functional as a car.

This is one example, and these are only the mind control and manipulation tactics that I can pick out. These are made by massive teams that have conducted huge amounts of private experiments and know far more about how to control the human mind than I do. This is happening everywhere, with everything all of the time. Big tech does it with algorithms, Main stream media funded by billionaires, wikipedia editors paid by big corporations, fucking everything.

TLDR: Normies are mind controlled by everything all of the time. They are literally walking robots that hand over their money and perform self destructive actions habitually because that's what they've been programmed to do.

Good analysis, u understand product design and marketing well.

What's annoying in this case is this kind of behaviour is pretty normal in ethnics and rice people, for obvious reasons (poverty differentiator due to millennia of inequality, and bad genes limiting their ability to compete or peacock on physical attributes), but this guy is a white guy, he's done pretty well for himself and is now splashing out a bit.

What the idiot doesn't understand is he can take that money and invest it (he already has I vested a fair bit) or even better use it to improve himself, but he refuses to listen.

His last 2 GFs were both LTRs, one was white one was Punjabi, and both had hookups and ONS before LTRing him. He is a bit of a soy boy now I think about it so might be a lost cause.

Trying to blackpill someone is a waste of time, people are literally immune to the truth. If you want to get a nice car then do it but don't expect to slay because of it.

He paid a massive opportunity cost. Investing some of the money and using some of it for looks maxes would have improved the quality of his life far greater. The cost of being a robot consumer slave.

There are techniques to deprogram people of this kind of mind control, but it takes a massive amount of skill and time and often doesn't work. It's rare that even an expert deprogrammer can deprogram some one of years of brainwashing conducted by massive teams of the worlds leading experts.

I just let them buy the car, be happy for a day, feel worthless again because of the messages big corporations give them, buy more shit, become a political pawn, die of diabetes from processed food, or steroid induced organ failure, etc. It's hard to make friends with people knowing their thoughts, actions, and life is not their own. They are mindless fleshy robots. But I think people have a small amount of soul and individuality.
