How badly am I coping if I am excited I have significant scoliosis so that I can get surgery to fix it so I can get taller?

Title. I'm going in for a check up with my primary care provider in 2 weeks to get a referral so I can get an x-ray or MIR to see my back, because of the constant aches pains I have in my lower back. I definitely have an anterior pelvic tilt to a certain degree I can always see that in the mirror, and I plan on getting in some physical therapy to fix my posture. Am I coping hard af and autistic if I am hoping that my spine IS curved to a significant degree so that when I get surgery for it, I end up gaining a few inches. I'm trying to ascend from a 6ft manlet to at the VERY LEAST, 6'2 above average height.

is it more than 20 degrees curved, surgeons won't do spinal fusion surgery on mild scoliosis...

I'm not sure as I have yet to get an mir or x-ray done, we'll see.

(Idiopathic) scoliosis - especially the severe cases - can easily be seen and don't need an x ray for a first diagnosis. They're gonna do an MRI or CT scan and not an x ray anyways, but that's a different story.

Severe cases have asymmetric shoulders, chest and head posture. When bending forward shirtless, the curve in the spine can be seen from an observing person. If none of these apply to you you're most probably not a severe case. Anterior pelvic tilt does not classify as scoliosis.

Also I would NOT hope for such a surgery. Perhaps it helps you to google "scoliosis spine screws" or "scoliosis post surgical x ray"... basically your vertebra will be aligned (so that you gain height) in a straight line BUT they have to be fixed with screws and plates and that comes at the cost of mobility and flexibility.

I know a guy who gained 7cm or roughly 2.5 inches from it but he can barely turn his spine, forget about any sort of sport that involves a lot of flexibility and stretching. Scoliosis is a really bad fuck up and there's not really a risk free, good way to fix it.

Lower back pain is more commonly a sign of disc prolapse (if any muscular pain origins are excluded) it comes from sitting 14 hours a day at your desk, rotting on these forums. If you have a disc prolapse at such a young age well then...

will at max make you an inch taller and wont fix ur frame if its narrow etc, literally no one will notice unless they are hyperfixating on ur appearance, so yes it is weird for u to get excited

6ft is ideal height are u stupid
Yeah, maybe 20 YEARS AGO FOR MILLENNIALS. Zoomers need to be atleast 6'3-6'5 or they're manlets. I'm trying to atleast reach 6'3, so I might go LL now.

Did u end up having scoliosis?
I'm meant to have a referral but it's taking ages, but I don't think I have it anyway
