If you live in a major city where it's normal to not drive then it's nbd
otherwise you're gonna want a license - 18 is still young but why wait around?
you can sign up for drivers ed where an instructor will be with you the whole time helping you and they even have a break pedal on their side of the vehicle to help you drive / for safety
