My dad is a super traditional catholic and he just got back from church (since it’s Sunday). He worships trump and basically thinks that traditional Christianity is superior to every other religion.
Yet here I am going through so much shit in my life. False accusations, job loss, reputation ruined. Never had a girlfriend. Fired from multiple jobs in my life. Traffic is horrible.
If there is a God he’s definitely not loving. He might be loving and forgiving to pastors who rape children or to super wealthy elites, but he seems to like to make life a living hell for the common folk.
A lot of Christians like to say that life’s challenges are tests to make you more faithful and to help you come out stronger on the other side. But then why would he make challenges in life that aren’t solvable? Why give people terminal cancer? Why put falsely accused people in prison? Why do homeless people die in the starvation and cold?
There’s only two conclusions I can come to. Either God is evil and he wants to torture innocent people.
Or there is no God and everything is natural selection. And there’s no afterlife.
This is also the reason why people are anti suicide because there’s a lot of leftovers from traditional Christianity which teaches that suicide leads you to hell. Even though a lot of subhumans and people who get in permenant situations would literally better be off if they killed themselves.
