First MSE doesn't really cause any meaningful amount of forward growth, it's lateral expansion, so while you may technically get some forward movement as a byproduct, it's probably not what you're after.

That aside, expanding your maxilla for the sake of it is not a good idea. Put in looksmaxxing terms, it's like having a CT of 6, but still wanting to have a "higher canthal tilt", at some point it's no longer a looksmaxxing, it's a looksminin.

If you don't need MSE (given your orthos comments you likely don't), then expanding for the sake of it will just ogremaxx you.
