just for context i only started looksmaxxing about a month ago and most of the month was spent changing lifestyle stuff and doing cope methods so if i say something stupid please bear with me and correct me.
my main problem is a short (little bit proclined) ramus, in general weak lower third, short face and unbalanced facial thirds (36.4/28.6/35) making my face appear even shorter than it is. i also have a slight underbite.
i have a midface ratio of 1.02, my fwhr is 1.98 and my gonial angle is 115°.
as of now what i do to combat this flaws is walk around with my lips sealed but teeth apart (giving the illusion of a longer chin) and mandible pushed forward to the point that my incisors are on the same level. this is a great fix in my opinion and i can maintain this pose throughout the day almost effortlessly. i would only want to opt for surgery if it would give me a significant advantage appeal wise.
i don't suffer from any functional problems as of now except for having a stuffy nose while being sick normally.
the 3 options i was able to come up with (money is not a problem):
- just a vertical genioplasty, this would not adress my unbalanced facial thirds (just make it worse in fact)
- chin wing osoetomy with jaw angle implants
- bsso with mandible downgraft and advancement + vertical genioplasty
the reason i am not considering a maxilla downgraft along the lefort 1 or lefort 2 fracture is that it would mess up my midface ratio, fwhr, chin to philthrim ratio.
if anyone has any suggestions regarding this please let me know!
