Looks the same to me tbh in the one month ago length pic. Maybe just thin the sides a bit (but only use thinning scissors on second half of hair strand). His is slightly less curly but I dont think anything u cn do about tht.

Wht the user said about go to a woman stylist is true aswell. 90 percent of barbers dont know shit but short back and sides. They cant cut medium length hair at all. Maybe if u pay big for an expensive barber they cn but other thn tht no chance.
