get a hobby. Get into sports. Then when you see someone doing the same thing it would be way easier to approach. Literally being the same club as someone can make friends when there are matches of footballs. So try that

I go to the gym almost everyday, it feels like home and people are really kind. That's where I practice my social skills btw, really good solution (but most of them are incels or gymcel so Idrk if they are "normal" people yk)
