Immersion, immersion, and more immersion.
If you're on a time crunch, watch every show/movie in Italian, listen to Italian music, read Italian books, hell you could even turn your phone's language to Italian.
That, and learning the basics. Watch videos on the basics of Italian, and if you really wanna learn as fast as possible, get an Italian speaking partner. Whether that be a friend, family member, or online teacher, just get a partner that speaks Italian.
