How can someone have low interpupillary distance when their intercanthal distance is exactly one eye width?

Wouldn’t having more than one eye width between the medial canthuses ruin facial fifths?

I feel low inter-pupillary distance corresponds to inter-canthal distance being less than one eye’s width, so a lot of people on this forum cope by calling other people low inter-pupillary distance ridden when actually their eyes are exactly one eye apart. Ryan Gosling and Marko Jaric are two people with actually low inter-pupillary distance cause their eyes are too close set with the inter-canthal distance being less than one eye width
