Mewing (correct tongue posture) is mostly anecdotal, and there is not a lot of literature on its effectiveness, but it does not hurt to try, and see the potential results for yourself. My lower third is lacking.its recessed from the side and lacking in vertical height.how can I lengthen it?
how would braces help at all?Mewing (correct tongue posture) is mostly anecdotal, and there is not a lot of literature on its effectiveness, but it does not hurt to try, and see the potential results for yourself.
Your best options are braces if your teeth are misaligned. Cosmetic surgeries and implants if you have enough money.
The position of your teeth can impact jaw development because of how forces are distributed when you chew and when your mouth is closed. Having correctly aligned teeth is helpful for good jaw bone development. This only really matters if your teeth are crooked or misaligned in the first place. The differences that braces will make in the end might not be big, but it also has no downsides for those that need them (including me). What do you think?how would braces help at all?
No way you are talking about jaw development lol. So it would be on the same level as mewing I guess. The position of your teeth can impact jaw development because of how forces are distributed when you chew and when your mouth is closed.
