How can you get lips with more colour to boost contrast?

Wondering how i can make my lips have more colour without looking like a homosexual. Yeah i know exfoliating your lips everyday with your tooth brush works, but is there anything else that can help? ive tried a tinted lip balm it just looks zesty.

baby lip tinted lipbalm isnt really noticeable if u didnt have dark ass lips before and all of a sudden theyre pink but it looks good tho
