how can you tell if somebodies infras are recessed?

im probably gonna seem like a greycel for this question but i dont know how to tell if somebodies infras are recessed. is it just based on the scleral show or are there also other factors? if so what are they?

how do recessed infras cause that? is it because its like hollowed which makes it look darker

Dark under eye can be caused by two reasons
Maxillary recession
Lack of sleep

The former will automatically make your underye support bad ig,I don't have much knowledge regarding maxilla tbh
