It's acceptance; true hope isn't clinging to a painful life.
life itself shouldn't be your only source of hope.

the more i read theories against atomism, the more sceptical i am on the truth of their just being nothingness after death
organisms dont just lose their energy, it can weaken but not unto a stage of nothing?
roger buschovich's book sofar debunks atomism pretty well ngl

at moments in life i have thought that the key to life was peace
i think when u find what is in the essance of life, u can realise that peace isnt a neccesaty of nature, nature, like a women, is ruthless, overwhelming, wasteful

and to find peace is to master ur own nature, and then ur masculinity, which is the opposite of women, creation, formful, logical, orderly, etc,, immoral or moral, the highest human imo has mastered both his natures, and has turned his life into art

death shouldn't be a goal in any scenario.
the best thing is to accept it as is and stop escaping it; as i said in the other thread.

both extremes; chasing it or running away, are stupid mind-traps.
ideally, you should make every decision that makes you happier, even if it shortens your lifespan.

why must we be punished in every realm of reality.
why can't i just have my peace and cease from existence...

idk why this can paralyze poeple, looking behind the daunting reality that as result of our society death is now associated with nothing but uncertainty and worry, how can a dark afterlife paralyze you

idk if its just me but even that reality makes me want to intensify life, like the finity of it

Death looks like adventure to me

Hell must be better than my life

in the divine spectators of the world, the tragedies, the sufferage, the pain of mortals and humans are seen as festivals, playwrites and dramas
this view of thier lives is what made athens so good, even if sufferage was uncalled for, they knew in the grand scheme of things gods could maybe get a llaugh out of it and root for the human

i dont know, i just think about it a lot, we live in a clown hell universe where even the seemingly good things are only there to then be taken away to cause you more pain. never get used to anything.

I would like to postpone it, but fear of death is not something that overwhelms me

I fear the general direction humanity, more specifically my people, is heading in much more. I fear the world my descendants will have to live in will be very bad.

We aren’t scared of the time before we were born so why should we be scared of what happens when we die? There’s no reason to be scared of death, only pain

hopelessness has taught me to find hope in the very thing that takes it all away.
you could say ive gone full circle

Honestly I would want to live to be the last human alive because as long as my brain can pick up dopamine I will be happy
