Because the climate makes them look different.
I looked best in cold misty climate in India like Hosur, Tamil Nadu during winter(near Bangalore.)
My skin was much paler, very light pinkish brown.
But I preferred the high UV of Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu because my hair turned Brunette(even eyebrows and moustache-beard) and forearms turned blondish.
