What Americans tell about their families, they seem like broken families. Kicking out your children at 18, forcing them to get a job AND study at a time - what if they can't because they're chronically sick with disease that's untreatable / incurable? and so on, and so on

Why are American families like this?

Oldtard Americans still live in the 60’s-80’s and think that we somehow have it easier than they did (we clearly don’t). They think kicking their child out at 18 will “toughen” us when it does the opposite. Job market is oversaturated as shit, everything is expensive as fuck, and illegal shitskin immigrants coming here is making things worse.

They (some boomers, mostly gen x) had wealthy parents and they themselves experienced america in prosperous times for their own careers. Seems like population and technology increased, the mind may be warped by easy lives, social influence/pressure/comfortability

Being born in the 60s, 70s. Maybe extreme music, rock/country concerts supercharging egos and radicalizing teens of that time off to lala Disney land warping how they socialize and pair bond (inability to). Often fake religious, they believe all forms of relationships are like a movie and it's impossible for them to do wrong lol
