i took anti allergy medication and it helped a little. The purges really arent that bad althought i still have some acne even after 5 months of 0.025 tret

nah it lasted a while for me, like months

you will have forsure, the purge should be over quite fast, at least in my experience, for me it happened 2-4 weeks in or so and now its fine some weeks after that just give it time and make sure u moisturize enough

ive been on it for 2 weeks i got bad acne the whole 1st week but now its cleared up

cisaplast baume b5 and cerave moisturizing lotion, id recommend cisaplast maybe 1-3x weekly for skinbarrier repair max, unless you have really really dry skin then you could use it daily I assume its just quite fat compared to the cerave lotion

How do u tell if ur skin barrier is fucked? Ive been using beauty of joseon dynasty cream for moisturizer

yeh texture got alot better- skin tone is alot even. It takes months to see real noticable improvements so dont loose hope just after 3 months or so

well does your skin for example sting after u wash it with lukewarm water? does it peel? I had abit of flaking when I started 0.05 after being on 0.025 for abit but I wouldnt say thats a major indicator of damaged skin barrier, is your skin often red for example? but I think that moisturizer is also good it just depends on how ur skin reacts

some people purge, some people don't.
i had a purging phase when i started over 6 months ago, and it lasted almost 4 months.

It only stopped once I got on doxycycline for about a month. now I have zero acne.

Didn’t happen for me, purging with any acne drug is always blown out of proportion
