How cooked is my hair

I started diffuse thinning when I was 13, and continued to lose hair until I was 14.5. My hair has stabilized since then, and I haven't lost any more (I'm 18 now). I used topical minoxidil on and off for a few years, but I was inconsistent with it any only applied it once every few days since it was a hassle.

Eventually, I hopped on 2.5 mg oral minoxidil (my derm wouldn't prescribe me 5mg or fin) and so I used it for 6 months, but didn't notice any changes tbh. I was then bumped up to 5mg minoxidil and was prescribed the finasteride aswell, which I've been using both for around 4 months now.

I do think I'm growing baby hairs on my scalp, but I'm not sure if they're terminal or if they're even there jfl.

But yeah, idk if I should wait longer on fin, or switch to dut

Also Is my hair even salvageable or is it over?

diffuse thinning is from androgenic activity, if youre on roids it might be why its happening. DHT makes your start receding from temples and crown and i dont think you have that.

tbh no cuz i get my dut from roid sellers in china, up the minox to 5mg if you can or buy more from india, it is a huge difference. On india mart look for the one with the most amount of "seals" and verifications and pick the one with the best ratigns. fair warning it takes like a month to get to you

Nigga it started at 12 for me tbh I don't even know. My dad does have shit hair genetics but even then, he didn't start balding until like late twenties. My mom has excellent hair

I genuinely don't know the cause, since my sister also has severe diffuse thinning (even worse than mine) and she started losing hair around 15-16 whereas I started at 12-13. There's no way it's bcs of DHT since she's a girl
