How could she take a look at me and think: "This guy is cute. I want his number!"?
I am not an attractive guy. I'm just not. I'm 22. I'm build a bit bigger. Currenty trying to lose some weight by having long walks outside and eating healthier. I have a beard, wear a regular jeans and an orange T-Shirt. I'm not insecure about my masculinity. I love my orange T-Shirt. It has a cute little duck with a rainbow umbrella on it. And then there is my beanie that I wear almost everyday even at summer because I like how i look with it. Or my little sweatband in the colors of the bisexual pride flag because I'm also into men.
So I'm just sitting there on the bus stop listening to System of A Down in my huge Over-Ear headphones because In-Ears for some reason don't stay in my ear, just vibing there being myself, looking probably like the biggest idiot on this planet and this cute girl taps on my shoulders. I am annoyed for having to pause my song assuming I just have to answer a question about when the bus will arrive. But instead she tells me that she thinks I'm cute and wants my number. I'm looking behind me thinking she is talking to someone else but no she wants my number. I just say sure and have a conversation with her during the bus ride. She asks for a date and now its settled for next week.
And at home writing this down and I cannot comprehend how she see's me in my "natural habitat" being just goofy vibing to my music with everything I described above and she thinks: "Dang he's cute. I want his number." What kind of thought process went through her head? I find it funny. I mean I kinda try to understand the female gaze and what feminism told me about the female mindset but this is something I just don't really understand. But I think its amusing.
