You google how to get patented thed yoi go to coders and pay them to work. Its extremly unlikely to get sold some over a billion

I'm not sure, but whatever is cutting edge right now and has a huge room to develop further, if you are early in a certain field you have a huge advantage compared to joining later when it's already too much competition.
Those who were among the first in writing software, making websites, apps, becoming bloggers, vloggers, youtubers, tiktokers, streamers, influencers, etc. had the upper hand when these things were just starting and became famous with relatively little effort. Most also didn't make money in the early days, they did those things simply because they were passionate about it and only later started to be paid for what they did.

Occasionally, you see someone coming with a revolutionary idea and disrupting an already established market but that's extremely rare, you still have more real, concrete chances of getting rich in a field that is just starting...
I've read this book called "Appillionaires: Secrets from Developers Who Struck It Rich on the App Store" about the first guys who developed apps for the iPhone and almost all of them made a lot of money. Apple simply had no standards then for the app store, they accepted everything and since there weren't many apps people bought everything, even the stupid ones like "The mirror" app who simply displayed a black screen.
