Then when he was finally ready he went and then it didn’t even live up to a fraction of what he had imagined and fantasized it would be like.
It’s extremely dangerous to be vulnerably narcissistic whilst being shy and introverted - yet setting extremely high expectation for yourself
You watch the expectations of your college years fly right past while you’re too frozen in anxiety and shyness to make anything happen. You keep waiting for things to happen but nothing comes to you. Then it passes you by completely in the blink of an eye while everything you had hoped for shattered
The lesson is that men need to MAKE things happen, even if it makes them uncomfortable. That days of the world just coming to you and falling to to your lap while you stay quiet are never gonna come. Life will pass if you do nothing
