What's the reason? Is it because they're more UV resistant and stay out in the sun for longer..?

another good theory. maybe because they're the ones who have been least affected by technology and conveniences making life easier. white people and asians have lived thousands of years with technology whereas in africa, up until a few centuries ago, they were still running around in pelts chasing animals with spears. but then again, what would explain the leg up? i think because those who migrated north had the genes for curiosity, exploration, making technology, etc

Not really.. africans were made to be quick and run away from danger than be the hunters who hunt

Of course they hunted, like did every early civilisation.. but I'm saying that they considerably favoured the running away or flight response than the hunt or fight response

It is why they have have the gene variant for fast twitch muscles that was evolutionarily prioritised... and longer legs, that are genetical advantages for running
Compared to having a larger torso, that was a genetic advantage for throwing spears.. or a larger torso that was a genetic advantge for more power behind strikes or for swimming

Blacks have the longest leg to torso ratio of any race on this Earth. Their ancestors equpped themselves for running away from potential danger, than hunting the potential dangers

Not a bad thing, in fact between the two I would prefer the running away myself.. because in today's environment we aren't limited like our ancestors were. So running genetics contribute much more than the ability to hunt/fight that can often be overcome with better technique/ more muscle mass, etc
