just start slow with it, benzoyl peroxide’s strong, and if you overdo it early you’ll end up red and flaky. use a small pea-sized amount on clean, completely dry skin once a day (preferably at night). don’t slather it just a thin layer over the breakout areas, not your whole face. after 10-15 minutes, you can put on a light non-comedogenic moisturizer to stop dryness. once your skin adjusts after a week or two, you can start using it twice a day if needed. also, if you’re already using actives like retinoids or acids, alternate nights instead of stacking them.
