First post best post. This is the only answer. You get better at socializing by getting out of the house and doing it more, and also by being around other people to observe how they speak and interact. Over time social interactions start to flow more smoothly. You will have plenty of awkward interactions, but more positive social interactions you have, the more confidence you gain and your social skills only continue to improve.
