Everything where I’m at is public/government funded so salaries are worse off here. How hard was it to get into medical school? There’s only 2 med schools in my country it’s a pain to get in although I will apply next year

Well it's actually not that hard compared to say becoming an investment banker at goldman sachs or quant at citadel
There's some bottom of the barrel schools (like DO schools) that you just have to do decently in college to get into
psych is pretty easy to get into so any school would do

2 schools is tuff that sounds hard asf bro

Fast track programs are 1 year shorter right?
If I could take it back I would’ve done that in highschool and applied to Australia that offers these programs would’ve been a lot of stress off my mind.

The shortest is 6-year combined BS/DO (DO is like a MD-lite that can still do all doctor jobs but will have bias against them for residency apps)
but that would be soooo worth it, I could make a plan to become a full-fledged psychiatrist (4 year residency) by 27

the only possible even more baller career would be quant at HFT firm but that would require top of the class at Harvard/Stanford and 180 IQ
