I have 5 egg laying hens but they lay eggs really slow in the winter. That’s a problem because their where i get all my eggs from. Chickens naturally slow egg laying in the winter but not as much as mine. My chickens have basically completely stoped laying and that’s not normal.
I think my chickens are under to much stress form the winter and being kind of neglected. I don’t really neglect them but I’m really busy so I don’t take care of them a lot. Chickens are really prone to stress and basically stop everything and become retards when they get even a bit stressed.
If you have chickens how do I lower their stress in the winter because I can’t really let them outside because its cold as shit in Minnesota.
Also how do I nutritionmax my chickens they eat just the generic layer feed but their diet is shit and they are not in the best health. I heard that healthy chicken shit should be grey and kind of solid but mine are runny and brown. How do I fix their diet?
