im a 19 year old guy with long (down to my neck) hair. i was scratching my head one day and felt straight scalp so i took a pic and noticed a big ass bald spot on the back right of my head, and google says its almost 100% alopecia. my mom had it and my dads bald so safe to assume its alopecia, so where do i go from here? already plan on using a derm roller + some niche ass indian hair oil that works incredibly well and ive been boosting just general diet stuff. anyone have any advice?

im not too stressed about it anymore because its entirely obfuscated by the rest of my hair but id really prefer it not spread further, appreciate any help

Use the Indian hair product if you truly trust it but an alternative is Minoxidil. I would suggest getting a Derma stamp for your hair instead of a roller. As for supplements you could try Finasteride, Viviscal, and Collagen.

appreciate it, just bought a derma stamp and rosemary oil; i kinda trust the indian oil because it cured my dandruff literally overnight but idk how it is for hair loss. if anyones interested, its called "teenzy mystical hair oil" by "pure herbal". only available in india unfortunately so idk how to get more when i run out but whatever

If you see improvements while using it then continue using it but I would 100% suggest investing in Minoxidil rather than rosemary oil. Minoxidil is a lot more extreme.

sorrry not much you can do

the hair will grow back, you just have to be patient, but try not to stress over it because it’s out of your control
