How do I get/consult to get Double Jaw Surgery

Do you need an CBCT scan? Do you just email them your pictures? Do you email videos? Do you get to have an actual input when you email them? What do you say in your email? How many different surgeons should you consult (or email?)

You email the surgeon and explain your issues and give a brief overview of how you might want to go about fixing them and ask if they are willing to have a consultation.

Thats basically it.

It depends on the surgeon.
Most will require at least a CBCT scan (usually a full cbct scan), then they will usually also require a digital dental impression (CBCT isnt very accurate so these are required), thats really all they need.

But you usually wont require them before the consultation.

Do you get to have an actual input when you email them?

If they dont allow you to have any input on what surgery you want then dont go with them, its your face and you should be allowed to influence their decision.

This is one of my emails.

(All surgeons I have dealt with seem to use whatsapp so I just leave mine at bottom with my email.)

You google "Maxillofacial surgeons" call them, ask if they need a referral, if they say yes hang up, if they dont then schedule a consultation and usually at the consultation they will take an xray or ct scan
