How do I grow taller?

I'm 17 and currently 5'4"... Not only I'm chopped but I'm small asf, worse combo ever. My mom is the same height as me and my dad is even smaller than her as I recall. Is there any way I can grow taller or is it all genetics and it's truly over?

At 17 it’s not automatically over. Some guys still grow a few centimeters, especially if they hit puberty later. Genetics matter a lot, especially if both your parents are short, but you won’t know for sure until your growth plates are actually closed. Until then, just make sure you’re doing everything right: sleep enough, eat properly with enough protein and vitamin D, stay active, and avoid crash dieting or anything that could mess with your hormones.

Also, posture is huge. A lot of people walk around with rounded shoulders and a forward head and literally lose visible height because of it. Standing straight with your shoulders back and chest up can instantly make you look taller and more confident. And even if you don’t grow much more, it’s not over. Your build, posture, style, and presence can change how people see you way more than a few centimeters ever could.
