I can usually tell it by ear. Training your pitch could be a very good thing for you.

But I guess I could link you a few more modern songs that are inspired by him/written in his style. Can't promise that would work for you. The best advice I can give you is spend some time listening to his songs, study music theory and his habits, chord progressions, what key he usually writes in etc.

Also a good video that I can recommend

Also I think this could help you get the general idea and understanding on how some modern day songs use chord progressions and style borrowed from some other classical pieces as well, not necessarily just Bach

Also @kjsbdfiusdf, just found this. Once you understand music theory better and start listening to classical pieces, you see how cucked the music industry today really is. Melody pretty much doesn't exist, there used to be tons of harmonies (even back in the 60s, 70s and 80s songs had harmonies). Nowadays it's just a simple beat and chords.

It's like taking something so sophisticated and beautiful and dumbing it down so it gets appeal to the general masses. That's the main reason why I despise pop music the most, I don't like rap songs that are played on the radio today (the 90s scene was totally different and much better than the autotuned crap that is put out today).

This song by Juice WRLD is inspired by Pachelbel's Canon in D as well. The chords are beautiful, but the singer is trash, so much autotune it hurts my ears to listen to this type of crap. The lyrics make me sick too. Typical garbage that works in today's era and gets put on the radio.

I can't even imagine what Pachelbel would think of that... But that's just me being a music snob.
