ok well if you are considerably severely recessed you should get it covered by insurance if youre minimally recessed then you can try and get sleep studies or x rays or whatever as evidence of your narrow airways or really bad ortho - or just find a really really chill blackpilled doctor which is one in a million chance

i managed to get it partially covered by insurance you just need a chill ortho that will refer you and say that its medically necessary, theres not a mm requirement or anything just larp about tmj, breathing issues and sleep apnea
