how do i reduce the redness of a retinoid onto nose?

i started applying tret to my bulbous ahh nose to maybe shrink it in size but the redness lingers. i try to mask it by using concealer but its a temporary change. yep anything but a rhinoplasty im a brokecel do i just switch to a corticosteroid or do i just do the sandwich method(i dont do it on my nose my mistake)
