How do I remove ghosts from my house?

I’ve been hearing this knocking in the middle of the night seems to come from the appartment next to mine

Usually lasts very long but I always thought whatever schizo is doing that is probably not worth complaining to

Today I had enough tho and went open the door to see who was knocking all day in the neighbours door but as i opened like magic it all stopped and nobody was there

Makes me wonder since ever since I moved here I’ve been having nightmares and sleep paralysis seeing monsters tho I just attributed that to the sleep paralysis

The knock lasts hours btw and for me to open and nobody be there it also stopped for the rest of the night
