How do i reset my sleep schedule

I wake up at 8pm and go to sleep at 10pm, i try to be awake for 24 hours but i just fall asleep at like 13-14pm and then i wake up even later

Take as much melatonin as you can right when you're about to fall asleep
Gonna knock you out but your dreams will be more vivid
 
Thing is im already sleepy now and its 4am but i cant fall asleep

Read this clear because this actually worked for me:

Do what you're currently doing by waking up way late in the night at around 10-12am, and stay awake for as long as possible. Try to stay awake and make it to at least 7-8pm the next day and fall asleep at that time.

You should wake up at an early time, BUT make sure you're asleep for only 10 hours max so your tired enough to sleep at an early time the next day. Then rinse and repeat until your body is used to this new sleep schedule.

Let's say you fall asleep before the 7-8pm mark, then that's fine just keep doing this method until you can stay awake long enough to sleep at a decent time.

caffeine is gonna be your best friend, have loads of caffeine on standby
