When I had long hair (chin/shoulder length), I just happened to be exposed to enough sun over enough time for some brown highlights to show up. So you could take that route.

Otherwise, you could use lemon + heat, exposure to chlorine via swimming, fry the tips of your hair with hot oil, get a cell implant from a Waardenburg syndrome patient (gives you grey streaks of hair), etc.
