but when I catch myself, I try to stop and I just look super unnatural

I also adjust my lips and make them look super fake and retarded

A slight squint is ideal and mimics a smile.

It’s a habit all humans have and should have. Squinting slightly like raising your under is fine. It just turns into a problem when your squinting super autisticly like zeta

This is what models and actors do for photos, don’t think of it as a squint, it’s just a “smize” or slightly smiling with the eyes

You do want some expression/tension in your face for photos, don’t just stand there slackjawed and deadpan staring. Don’t full on squint or furrow brow either
