I know that I will still have natural sugars like in fruits or in yogurt, but what are some things I can do to stop constantly eating?
I workout regularly and am in good shape but am afraid my compulsive eating will make me fat. Bulking isn’t an excuse either because you can just eat foods rich in protein and carbs like salmon, grilled cheese and fish.
I will also give a bit of my personal life. I live with four people in my house, my mother, my stepfather, my sister and my brother. All of them eat like crap and eat based off of how good it is and how good it tastes. They get processed foods like canned ravioli, pizza, ramen noodles etc. I’m really tired of eating that way because I am trying to have the best health, especially for my teen years where I’m growing the most.
I will admit myself, I do choose to eat crap myself sometimes out of emotion, but recently it’s been getting worse and out of hand.
Foods I am trying to avoid
(Cookies, cakes, ice cream)
(Ramen noodles and other sodium machines)
These foods get the better of me. A quick meal or snack to compensate for timing reasons. And how they sit there waiting for you to eat them.
My family eats mostly off of emotional need (I don’t want to follow in that path), or when she is hungry. I don’t want to just eat off of compulsion like my mother does, I want to eat foods that are good for me.
What can I do to not become a compulsive eater?
