How do I LEGIT stop stressing, I only hear bs like "muhh deep breaths" it aint helping at all. My mother keep avoiding conversations of me going to a therapist it feels like she doesnt want me to go to cuz she cant accept the fact her son is an imbecile. Everytime I go outside its a fear of not getting a panic attack.

you could try some drugs, there are good ones for it but besides from that nothing you can really do

what's causing ur stress?
can u quote some of ur thoughts when u feel stressed?
is it a constant feeling or does it get worse/better sometimes?
is there a posibility to go to a therapist without ur parents knowing?

u are not an imbecile. everyone struggles sometimes and only few people know how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way
i'm not gonna force u to do breathwork if u feel like it doesn't work. just know that it usually takes some practice and has been proven to be as effective as prescription drugs
 
i used to go to therapy for a problem similar to this. therapy COULD help you (it didnt really help me) but theyll give you all the "muhh deep breaths" or equivalent. when you feel super nervous or like youre going to have a panic attack, just try being super zen and try to figure out exactly what caused it, how you felt, what helped you calm down. everyday or everytime you feel like this just try to remember what you did to chill out and try doing it more and more until it gets better and better. it takes a long time but eventually it does go away. sometimes it will come back stronger or worse, you just have to remember that youre in control and that you CAN resist

usually not much can be done to stop stressing, but certain medications definitely help

therapy is so fucking cope lmaooo, change ur mindset up and stop overexaggerating small things like a wuss u might have bad hormonal health get ur test up if not naturally then prescribed from a doc if it's severely low or just buy it from the net, netherless wish u the best <3

When im in school i fear of not being judged or bullied cuz ppl do that a lot to me, fear of death bro like what the fuck you mean im gonna stay dead forever and i dont know whats gonna happen after it, i have fear of choking so whenever i eat i have stress thats the branch of fearing death, also i have fear of getting a panic attack whenever i go outside, sometimes it gets better then i just remember everything i listed, my parents argue a lot also, no fighting just loud arguing and no there is no posibility without them knowing

it sounds like you have severe mental issues you shoukd definitely go to therapy to get prescribed medicine

OP, you need to change your cognition such that it doesn't arise in the first place.

CBT, Buddhist Mindfulness, and/or self-directed, self-induced cognitive adaptations can help

from the sound of it u are very anxious. anxiety stems from the fear of things that u can't control. a first step would be to know that u indeed have no control over what others do, but u can control urself and that's power. what personally really helps me is to make sure i have "emergency plans". so for instance "what am i gonna do if someone makes a hurtful comment?" "what am i gonna do to prevent myself from choking on food?" list like 5 things u could do. create security where it feels like there is none

i wanted to elaborate on the breathing too cuz ofc breathing isn't gonna fix a problem. that'd be magical. what breathing does is slow down ur heart rate again so u can think clearly. compare it to having to do math equasions while running up and down the stairs, that's a lot harder than catching ur breath, sitting down and finding the solutions calmly

btw this is exactly what CBT and DBT focus on. i'd say they are highly effective

Try ashwagandha ksm66, but don't take it longer than 1 month at a time.

Then try to figure out the root cause of the anxiety and work to solve it. Oftentimes it's quite clear what the real issue is and it takes effort and hard work to fix.
Like feelings of inadequacy or low self esteem.

i'll give some examples

"what if someone makes a hurtful comment?"
- try to stop the situation by politely leaving for a while (bathroom break) or switching topics
- use that break to think about what happened, what you are thinking and feeling, what you need moving forward
- briefly getting ur heart rate up even more: running up the stairs until u're out of breath (this one works really well for me as my body will help me get back to a calm heart rate)
- calm yourself with slow breathing. since u said it didn't work, try combining it with tensing ur muscles. as u breathe in u tense muscles in a body part (making fists, clenching ur jaw, tightening ur calves,...) and release the tension as u breathe out. repeat with different body parts.
- washing ur face with some cold water

"how to prevent myself from choking on food?"
- eat more slowly, or with smaller bites
- eat with someone so they can help if something goes wrong, or even having a glass of water near u could help
- not really an in the moment solution, but i think it would be insightful. try to list the foods that feel dangerous to choke on and the ones that do feel safe. do u notice any patterns? maybe certain utensils that feel safer?

don't underestimate chatgpt for finding solutions either

caffeine normally worsens anxiety but yeah, a calming routine is defo a good tip in general.

- Okay so the first one is a defense mechanism which was constructed to reduce impact of verbal abuse, do you have any friend circles? Surrounding yourself with people who aren't verbally abusive will make you less primed to expect it and thus reduce overall anxiety. Alternatively just do exposure therapy to it and learn to sort of inverse the negativity there ("youre a loser!" would instead become reflection on reasons why, if you cant find any reasons why and you think they're just doing it to make fun of you, then evidently it can't be that justified of an insult, so theyre losers wasting their time)
- Fear of Death is common and sounds like more of a philosophical problem, not sure if this is affecting your day to day or not (if not then just contemplate, if it does then DM me)
- If you have a fear of choking you've presumably choked in the past which links to fear of death, chew more and verify the food is very small or a paste before swallowing (nvm you right after said it was due to fear of death lmaoo)
- Fear of a Panic Attack has to be the most paradoxical thing ever, honestly it just stems from the other stuff and the only real solution other than bottom up (fixing other stuff first) is just recognizing that this fear will induce more panic attacks than it will avoid.

I did have friends until like i switched places, I started going to school I didnt get bullied at that time js didnt have any friends. Its gonna sound stupid but ever since i started wearing glasses everyone made fun of me for everything i do (I got them in fifth grade). It gotten to a point where i stopped taking care of myself which only led to more bullying and judging

Idk chatgpt told me that
Propranolol blocks β2 receptors in the lungs.

β2 receptors normally keep airways open.

Blocking them can cause bronchospasm → dangerous for people with asthma.
