how do i stop the redness from tretinoin

ive been using tret for 2-3 weeks now with spf 50 and a HA moisturiser but face has gone red af much redder than neck and arms making me look like tomato how do i fix

Mine didnt somehow. Started to glow right after 1st use. But i started with 0.025 and before retinol

unironically good, skin with more redness is rated as more attractive

I assume the redness is irritation and not blood vessels?

try to use as little tret as possible, buffer with moisturiser directly after, and maybe get a more gentle cleanser

don't take hot showers, or get your face wet in the shower at all

no the redness makes me look even more ethnic considering my neck and arms now look lighter than my face, is there no way to stop the redness

do what I said and see

tretinoin builds new blood vessels under your skin which can make it appear more red
this is unavoidable but 2-3 weeks in it's probably irritation as opposed to blood vessels and will likely pass with time
just be gentle with your skin and give it time
