I think they don't analyze it as much, they think that at some point they will find someone, like they don't force it and subconciously they might even know that it's a cope but they'll rather stay in that state of mind, they might do different things to cope, easiest would be porn, video games, fast food, netflix and social medias, and more advanced some sort of self improvement, reading books, working on personality, taking up a hobby ect
