How do people get a GF after they graduate high school?

I mean, u go to work where there probably aren't many females (and they are probably fat, have a bad age gap, or are dumb/other shit). and that's it, there isn't other places where u get interact with them on regular basis

friend's sister went to uni, mainly because the lake of people in her life (mtb-htb)
maybe when (and if) i will go to the uni it will change my situation
