how do pro bodybuilders measure their bodyfat?

i looked up online the fat caliper method and it only measures from 8% onwards. what if someone is under 8% like bro bodybuilders ? how is he going to measure his bf%?

Pro Bodybuilders don't measure their body fat, they don't give a shit. They are after a certain "look" whether that's at 3% or 4.5% they don't care. Even Dexa scans can be off so it's no point. Prob the GOAT bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman when asked on JRE what his body fat was, said "0.33%" which is absolutely ridiculous since anything below 3ish% and you're dying. The guy below is about as lean as someone can get without seriously risking their health, he is not only on steroids but pharma diuretics as well.

A better approach is, cut until you're absolutely shredded and love the way you look regardless of how hungry/tired you feel at that moment, then go on a SLIGHT surplus and add muscle until you feel like your abs start fading(Or whenever you feel like you look unacceptable)

Since theyre pros... they simply use the mirror They are experienced enough to know fat vs water retention and can compare where theyre @ bodyfat wise relative to previous shows during their prep with memory and pics. Dexa scans are cope and waste of money as the judges dont look at dexa scan results but rather the visuals.

Stuff like body fat and lean mass are only useful for trainers to estimate a clients diet calories. The pros sure as shit dont use an online macro calculator JFL
