I have overbite, but mostly because of the front teeth, back teeth more or less align.
My both jaws are too small but similar size, maybe top jaw is a bit bigger.
Getting both jaws wider would probably help with aesthetics but also more place for tongue and airway.
Surgeon plans to do three-piece lefort (to rotate the front teeth more maybe), so it would make the upper jaw wider also?
But how would the surgeon widen the bottom jaw (and bite, for bite alignment?)?
I must be misunderstanding something, right?
