I wanna switch to foil shaver so badly, shaving has caused me to grow such thicker hair overtime I fkin hate it

foil shaver wont get you a closer shave

me personally i use a henson al 13 safety razor w feather blades every 2 days with 3 passes: with, across and against the grain

no issues, ive been shaving with safety razors for like 3 years now

a good starter blade is merkur 34c

use a good razor bump creme after too to help w ingrown hairs and razor bumps
